SOMA ARE RECORDING Soma are making use of their new studio. We will record a new demo and start spreading our songs.

SOMA AT RUM ETT Soma will play at the release party for the fanzine that was made during the arrangement "Fanzine Maraton" that took place at Fabriken, July 21th. We Will play at Rum Ett on August 23rd at 18.00.

SOMA AT HELSINGBORGSFESTIVALEN Soma will play at Tumstocksfestivalen on the 26th of July at 19.00.

SOMA ARE MAKING SCENOGRAPHY Soma are now proud to get help from the lovely illustrator Moa Holmin. She has drawn our new logo and our mascot "Mongot". Masks and a wooden figure have been made from her sketches.

SOMA'S NEW STUDIO Soma's new studio is ready. It was made possible thanks to a generous contribution made by MOKS. Hopefully our new studio will make us even more creative.

SOMA ON FABRIKMUSIK Since Soma are a part of Fabriken, we will appear on the compilation record FABRIKMUSIK. The record can be bought at Fabriken.

SOMA AT FABRIKEN Soma will play twice at the Open house of Fabriken, March 3rd, in Helsingborg. Once in the afternoon and once later around midnight.

SOMA AT THE TIVOLI Together with Rusty Flores and Gustav from GATTS, Soma will enlighten you autumn evening at The Tivoli, Saturday 4 november. First band on stage 19.30, Soma will play as third band. Be sure to come because this will be a night to remember!

T-SHIRTS SOMA T-shirts are now available for everyone. As for now they will only be sold at concerts for only 100 SEK. Don't miss the oppurtunity to look your best this coming fall! There is also a model for girls and the t-shirt is available in many colors.

RATHER FEEL NOTHING Soma has recorded a new song called Rather feel nothing. It has been recorded by Nicolas Rodriguez from Kung Kodum in their studio right under our own studio. It feels funky and fresh, take a sip on the download section. Also comin' up is the funny computer game with soma. Keep an eye out!

@ ÅNGFäRJAN Together with Violet Elegy, Soma will play at Ångfärjan, Helsingborg, Friday 24 february. On stage 21.30. You're all invited to the dancecraze afterwards when members from Soma and Violet Elegy crashes the DJ-booth!

SOMA AT JERIKO Soma will interfere with your common sense while on stage at club c/onsdag, wednesday 15th february, Jeriko, in Malmö. On stage 22.30. Praiseworthy!

IN GOAT WE TRUST Soma has joined the In Goat We Trust - army of good independent music. Most likely, there will be some sort of colab and possibly a joint tour with a Dutch band named Woost. Be sure to visit their web site and download some of their songs. More about this topic further on...

NEW SONGS There is another song available on the download page called Recycled (feat. Fredrik Kronkvist on alto saxophone)!

NEW SONGS We have added couple of new songs to download. A first mix of Golden, one of three songs recorded two weeks ago is one of the songs you can download. The rest of the songs from that session, featuring Fredrik Kronkvist (www.fredrikkronkvist.com) on saxophone and flute, are coming soon. The other songs - The Echoes, Untouchable, Hit & Run and Bog in Fog were recorded late last year.

RECORDING W. FREDRIK KRONKVIST Soma is now scheduled to record a couple of songs in Magnus Consitt's studio from 2 to 5 September. Fredrik Kronkvist, who plays mostly jazz in many forms, will take part in the recording session and contribute with his great saxophone and flute playing. Hear more of all this soon!

TUMSTOCKSFESTIVALEN This is a reminder of the outdoor gig at Grytan - Tumstocksfestivalen wich takes place in Helsingborg, thursday the 28th of July. Soma will perform at 6 pm.

STUDIO TIME Our good friend from high school, Magnus Consitt, has begun mixing some of the songs we recorded at the end of November last year. New tracks will reach the homepage in a while. After that (probably in early September), Soma will hit Magnus' studio for a new session with three songs scheduled to be recorded.

REPORT Soma hasn't played any gigs for over a month now, but instead has spent extra time in the rehearsing studio with new material. The band feel very excited about the material and a upcoming recording have been brought up for discussion. Soma have also rehearsed with a violin player - Sofia - who is very talented and sweet, and if we play our cards right, you might see her in the future playing with us. At the moment the band is limping as one fifth of the band is cruising Europe by train. But as soon as we are united our wheels will start rollin' again.

SOMA IN SLOTTSHAGSPARKEN Soma will play at Grytan (City Festival), in Slottshagsparken, Helsingborg on the 28th of July.

DUNKERS Dunkers kulturhus has an open stage on wednesday the 9th of Mars between 6-7 pm, in RumEtt. After that Soma plays for about an hour.

2005-01-16 Wednesday, the 23rd of February, Soma will again play at The Tivoli's stage for Popkorn. In the meantime, you may visit citysajten.com's Popkorn coverage, that contains reviews and pictures.

2005-01-01 Soma will play at Folkets Hus on midvinterljus, a city event in Helsingborg, 12 February.

2004-12-29 Soma will once again appear on The Tivolis stage on January 12, together with three other bands. The concert is part of Popkorn.

THE TIVOLI Soma will play at The Tivoli in Helsingborg on Sunday December 12th togheter with a number of bands from Malmö and Helsingborg. Visit The Tivolis website for more information.

HUNTING CABIN Soma has recorded seven (!) songs in the Hunting cabin studio; The Echoes, Czech Improvisation, Hit & Run, Save us from being Saved, Bog in Fog, Untouchable and Auto-fire. Hopefully, in a future not so distant, the songs be will mixed and burned on cds.

2004-11-25 From the 28th to the 30th November Soma will engage in an analog recording session. Around 3-5 songs will hopefully be completed in the studio. You will all hear from this later on.

2004-11-10 Soma is planning to get into the studio again to record more songs. This time it will probably be recorded on analog equipment.

2004-09-02 Soma will play at club Tip Top in Helsingborg on Saturday October 30th 'round midnight. See ya there!

2004-08-26 Time to tune in, again! This saturday (August 28) Trust will be played at P3 Demo. The radio show is between 20.03 - 21.00 and will be downloadable at their web site when the show has finished.

2004-08-19 Stefan Wermelin, the host of the radio show Wermelin at P4, has informed Soma that one of their songs (Trust) will be played in the upcoming program. So tune in to the local P4 frequency or listen to SR's web radio on saturday (21/8) between 13.03 and 15.00.

2004-06-06 For you who haven't noticed, we have a new address to our web site. It's www.somamusic.net.

2004-06-02 We are pleased to announce that the recording session went very well. We have heard some of the material in a simple mix and feel excited with how the results sound. At the moment we are struggling to get some cd covers edited for printing.

2004-05-07 Soma will enter the studio on the 15 & 16 of May to record three songs. Andreas Ejnarsson, singer and bassplayer of Ben, will be assisting Soma in the studio. Altough all members haven't agreed on which songs to record, it will most likely be Trust, What are you waiting for? and Stay on target.

2004-04-15 Soma is planning to hit the studio in May to record 3-4 songs.
